Spectators: 7141 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 143) Benigno Ignatius started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With splendid footwork Urbano Intxixu arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 7th minute. Javier Eneto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquito Branca having to interfere. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Urbano Intxixu sped through Taboada AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delmiro Ixidor. In the 16th minute, Gaspar Senio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmiro Ixidor made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Urbano Intxixu sent off a good shot on target. Gaspar Senio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Delmiro Ixidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Taboada AFC defense, Urbano Intxixu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmiro Ixidor. The Taboada AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Ixidor should have stopped the shot. Gaspar Senio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Delmiro Ixidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urbano Intxixu was the one to do the kick off. Gaspar Senio scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmiro Ixidor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Delmiro Ixidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Normando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Gaspar Senio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Ixidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Taboada AFC's zone, Gaspar Senio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Ixidor came out of the goal and Gaspar Senio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Alonzo Gaitan put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Delmiro Ixidor. 73 minutes into the game, Alonzo Gaitan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Delmiro Ixidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Alonzo Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. Delmiro Ixidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 88 minutes into the match, Taboada AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Senio came free, but Delmiro Ixidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taboada AFC's Delmiro Ixidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Senio in the 90th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match, Benigno Ignatius tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chiquito Branca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee ended the match the Broke Team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
