Esteban Lucado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Hermon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Laplacette FC's Fausto Ricart got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95thth minute of the game Cristo Bertin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but independiente's Santiago Belasko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cristo Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The independiente players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Laplacette FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
