In the 3rd minute Freddy Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Tono having to interfere. Freddy Umbruso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Tono having to interfere. After some careless play in the Oxigeno FC defense, Paulino Chinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Tono. The Oxigeno FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Tono should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Oier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Severino Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Oxigeno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Gaskon came free, but Severino Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Umbruso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Oier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Arnau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Tono read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Benigno Gaskon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Severino Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixto Marz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Oxigeno FC's Bartolo Aureo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Aureo in the 75th minute of play. Oxigeno FC's Hector Erlantz got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Patricio Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, 9 de julio de Rafaela's Eulalio Erroman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Tono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patricio Arnau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Tono didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Oier went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 3-2 came in the 93rd minute when Eulalio Erroman all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Severino Tono. Benigno Gaskon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Oxigeno FC's zone, Patricio Arnau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Tono came out of the goal and Patricio Arnau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 9 de julio de Rafaela fully deserved thier win.
