If Fulgencio Dei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fulgencio Dei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes, Cirilo Guib mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LAGAR-TOS FC and the Cuipán AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cirilo Guib hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, LAGAR-TOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Canor to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Toribio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Cidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Dei in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes in the game, Cirilo Guib fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ignacio Abastas having to interfere. Alfonso Cidro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuipán AFC. Osvaldo Toribio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alfonso Cidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Toribio made the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Guib, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cuipán AFC's zone, Cirilo Guib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Abastas came out of the goal and Cirilo Guib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albino Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Fulgencio Dei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Cidro having to interfere. LAGAR-TOS FC's Alfonso Cidro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save LAGAR-TOS FC from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Cidro was a little too slow when Osvaldo Toribio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cuipán AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
