Anier Ilixo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th play minute Abel Tximitx came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vladimiro Palban. 1-1. Abel Tximitx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mezqui FC's Ivan Silban in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PIPONETA's goalie prevented a goal. Domingo Abella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Domingo Abella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIPONETA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Domingo Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Anier Ilixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mezqui FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Orlando Giraldo hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Mezqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Abella came free, but Anier Ilixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Silban to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mezqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Cordarell came free, but Anier Ilixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Abella got free with Anier Ilixo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Ilixo having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Ivan Silban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimiro Palban. PIPONETA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Silban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The attack was good, but when Ernesto Cordarell in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Anier Ilixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Cordarell in the 64th minute of play. Ivan Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Tximitx succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 74th minute Ernesto Cordarell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Ilixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PIPONETA's Ernesto Cordarell got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, PIPONETA's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Illart came free, but Vladimiro Palban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Mezqui FC's goalkeeper Anier Ilixo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Abella. Eduardo Furman charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Furman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PIPONETA getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eduardo Furman hit a great ball. Amado Oier was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Cordarell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Ilixo was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Vladimiro Palban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Tximitx, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th match minute, Mezqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Eneko to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mezqui FC had won after a very even match.
