Nunez Iaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rodolfo Etxekopar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Casas AFC booed when Ranchillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Abar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Elias Fagondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Casas AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 21st minute, Patricio Abar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Etxekopar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 25thth minute of the game Isidro Goito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranchillos FC's Javier Locaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 played minutes Ranchillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Rutenio. 27 minutes into the game, Casas AFC's Elias Fagondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Locaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Herminio Rosio fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranchillos FC's protests and gave Herminio Rosio a yellow card for diving instead. Herminio Rosio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Isidro Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Goito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Locaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nunez Iaki to make the kick off.
