After a defensive mix-up in Mártires de Chicago's zone, Cirilo Frichoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Daunte came out of the goal and Cirilo Frichoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute of the match Rogelio Olando sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Daunte skillfully saved the ball. In the 9th minute Guido Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Oinaz got free with Raul Cordeiro in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Lizer in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Daunte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Lizer in the 18th minute of play forced Mártires de Chicago's goalkeeper Benjamin Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Mambru charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Mambru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Mártires de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Mambru to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Daunte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Lizer went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 27 played minutes Ceibas got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Olando. Romeo Silbestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Cordeiro having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Emanuel Danel put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Raul Cordeiro, was totally fooled by Mártires de Chicago's Adrian Demesio, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Benjamin Daunte came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ceibas's Humberto Feliz. But to his dismay, Humberto Feliz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cirilo Frichoso hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Feliz to strike the kick off in the second half. Humberto Feliz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Daunte. Benjamin Daunte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Benjamin Daunte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Feliz in the 56th minute. If Humberto Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mártires de Chicago's zone, Santiago Beremundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Daunte came out of the goal and Santiago Beremundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceibas's Humberto Feliz got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Daunte having to interfere. A collision led to Mártires de Chicago getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Serafino Herena hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Uriel Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Gonchan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Humberto Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceibas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Feliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justo Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Benjamin Daunte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Humberto Feliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justo Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Daunte having to interfere. Alfonso Chuse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Benjamin Daunte made a huge save. Humberto Feliz scored 2-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Daunte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Ceibas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mártires de Chicago.
