In the 9th match minute, Macedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Eduino to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Bortzaioriz took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Hechter. Aristides Hechter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Ebardo in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Lico saved Don Bosco from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Macedo's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Paskal came free, but Aristides Hechter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Ebardo in the 19th minute of play forced Don Bosco's goalkeeper Ladislao Lico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Don Bosco getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cipriano Marino hit a great ball. Ladislao Lico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Ebardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Alejandro Paskal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macedo's Aristides Hechter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 33 minutes, Augusto Pacho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macedo and the Don Bosco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Macedo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Don Bosco:s goal. The referee gave Don Bosco a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Santiago Txurio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Macedo's Aristides Hechter. 0-2. The supporters of Don Bosco booed when Macedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cristobal Ebardo made the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Paskal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Aristides Hechter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Lico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Ebardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godfredo Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Lico having to interfere. Aristides Hechter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Paskal in the 69th minute of play. Don Bosco's Alejandro Paskal got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Bortzaioriz in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aristides Hechter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ivan Bortzaioriz might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Hechter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Macedo reached it. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Matias Ponc took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Aristides Hechter to make any attempt to save it.
