After a rather tough play, Melo AFC's Gilberto Orlondo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Atoradores AFC's goalkeeper Adolfo Bortzaioriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cristo Librado fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Atoradores AFC's protests and gave Cristo Librado a yellow card for diving instead. Cristo Librado hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Samuel Seguinus got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sergio Brais kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Samuel Seguinus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Adolfo Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Sabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Samuel Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Seguinus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Bortzaioriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anacleto Sabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabio Ubarna charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Ubarna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Los Atoradores AFC's Fabio Ubarna got a free kick in the 18th minute. Melo AFC's Anacleto Sabin got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Melo AFC booed when Los Atoradores AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Sabin struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Adolfo Bortzaioriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melo AFC. Anacleto Sabin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Bortzaioriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Adolfo Bortzaioriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Melo AFC's Anacleto Sabin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Bortzaioriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blas Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Barea in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Seguinus in the 52nd minute of play forced Los Atoradores AFC's goalkeeper Adolfo Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Seguinus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Adolfo Bortzaioriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play Los Atoradores AFC's Fabio Ubarna was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Fabio Ubarna hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Los Atoradores AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sergio Brais hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Samuel Seguinus put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adolfo Bortzaioriz. Samuel Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Sabin might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Bortzaioriz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Sabin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Melo AFC's Anacleto Sabin in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Atoradores AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Los Atoradores AFC's Eustacio Barea got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute Melo AFC were awarded a corner. Apolo Osasun went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Ruperto Gonsalve at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Los Atoradores AFC. 4-0. 92 minutes into the match, Anacleto Sabin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Bortzaioriz. Los Atoradores AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Sabin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Anacleto Sabin took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Bortzaioriz. Adolfo Bortzaioriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. There was no doubt that Melo AFC were the better team. Melo AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
