In the 55th minute of the match Aldo Erramu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Belo skillfully saved the ball. Guido Dabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Teodoro Belo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, XO FC's Casimiro Oliverios got a free kick in the 59th minute. Teodoro Belo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Tartalo in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, one of XO FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for XO FC. After 94 minutes of play, Union San Jose's Guaberto Ihazintu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacio Duardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Union San Jose fans cheered their team off the field, for while XO FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
