The crowd rose to their feet as Justino Ado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernabe Berart. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. Bernabe Berart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Ado in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Carpintería FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Maura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Poz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's Justino Ado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Berart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carpintería FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Elia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. San Lorenzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Elia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Ado in the 79th minute of play forced Carpintería FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Berart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carpintería FC's zone, Justino Ado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Berart came out of the goal and Justino Ado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Ernesto Curcio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Elia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bernabe Berart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Lorenzo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
