With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Jerrald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zeledon Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Ourente in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Matias Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Ourente struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Zeledon Jerrald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercedes. Gregorio Chabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Zeledon Jerrald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, Mercedes's Abelardo Ourente made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Jerrald was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Eliseo Umbruso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Mercedes's Gregorio Chabier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeledon Jerrald narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gregorio Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to JAH !! RASTAFARI getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Matias Cuartio hit a great ball. Abelardo Ourente struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gregorio Chabier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The JAH !! RASTAFARI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mercedes were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Ourente to make the kick off. RASTAFARI's Zeledon Jerrald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Ourente in the 59th minute of play. When Abelardo Ourente came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Mercedes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Ourente couldn't finish the play. Matias Cuartio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A hard shot 83 in the game by Gregorio Chabier from a close distance when the talented Zeledon Jerrald managed to make a qualified save. JAH !! RASTAFARI's players were relieved. Abelardo Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute.
