The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Mackenna FC's Aaron Tabor got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mackenna FC's zone, Alfredo Leoncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Tino came out of the goal and Alfredo Leoncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 8 in the game by Valentin Aragones from a close distance when the talented Domingos Tino managed to make a qualified save. Mackenna FC's players were relieved. The supporters of Mackenna FC booed when Pastela Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Leoncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Valentin Aragones put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Domingos Tino. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Aragones in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Tino saved Mackenna FC from getting behind. In the 17th match minute, Mackenna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Quilo to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Valentin Aragones sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingos Tino skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Aragones got free with Domingos Tino in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Aragones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Domingos Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mackenna FC's Domingos Tino got control of the ball when Robustiano Katia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonso Bizi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Jago in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Valentin Aragones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingos Tino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Pastela Fc were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Mackenna FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valentin Aragones took the corner. Pastela Fc's Valentin Aragones was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Domingos Tino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Mackenna FC's zone, Maximino Pudes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Tino came out of the goal and Maximino Pudes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Valentin Aragones took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Domingos Tino to make any attempt to save it. Domingos Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Pastela Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mackenna FC:s goal. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Mackenna FC. Cristian Quilo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfonso Bizi. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilario Jago to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pastela Fc booed when Mackenna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Balasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Aragones was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Robustiano Katia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Tino having to interfere. In the 67th minute Clodoveo Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Desiderio Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pastela Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Edwardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Alfredo Leoncio made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Tino. Mackenna FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Clodoveo Bakar might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Tino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Bakar ran back to his position shaking his head. When Pastela Fc's Melchor Joseph, in the 74th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Pastela Fc. After 75 played minutes Mackenna FC got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Jago. Benito Eriz struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Domingos Tino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pastela Fc. Robustiano Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clodoveo Bakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Domingos Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mackenna FC defense, Clodoveo Bakar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Tino. The Mackenna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Tino should have stopped the shot. Alfredo Leoncio took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Tino. Domingos Tino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. 92 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Bakar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Domingos Tino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mackenna FC's Domingos Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Joseph in the 96th minute of play. Pastela Fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
