Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hermengildo Luzea took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Esparta FC's Pedro Edur got a free kick in the 4th minute. Hermengildo Luzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Santikurtz having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Raul Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Constituyentes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Nuñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Esparta FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tiburcio Caetano hit a great ball. Saul Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Escobar in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Hermengildo Luzea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Santikurtz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Denis Bittor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Nuñez in the 39th minute. Raul Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Denis Bittor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Bittor having to interfere. A collision led to Esparta FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Siro Florian hit a great ball. If Jeremias Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esparta FC's Hermengildo Luzea got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Esparta FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Nuñez to make the kick off. Saul Santikurtz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Raul Nuñez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Bittor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Desiderio Estefan struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Denis Bittor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Constituyentes AFC. After 72nd play minutes Hermengildo Luzea shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Saul Santikurtz and just under the crossbar into goal. If Jeremias Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Denis Bittor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Bittor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Selmo in the 82nd minute of the match. Carlos Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Santikurtz having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Hermengildo Luzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Luzea in the 94th minute of play.
