Villafañe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calamares Bosteros the free kick. A collision led to Villafañe getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Victorio Iyan hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Calamares Bosteros's Jacobo Donzel tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Villafañe's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Norino came free, but Segundo Tximitx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Pirmin struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. David Mel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villafañe. Victorio Iyan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Mel having to make a save. If Ulises Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Austin in the 95th minute of the match. After 97 minutes, Rolando Chan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villafañe and the Calamares Bosteros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Villafañe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Calamares Bosteros for a fine match.
