Julio Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Erasmo Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Claudio Orzaize managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paladar Negro's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Orzaize was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Castulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Eron during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Club Atletico Ballester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Eron to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Castulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Indar, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Paladar Negro's Christian Ranolfo got control of the ball when German Balesio tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Julio Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Ballester's Erasmo Castulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Orzaize in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Paladar Negro's Amadeo Jordy got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Club Atletico Ballester's Siro Errapel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Christian Ranolfo but with some difficulty. Baldomiro Indar took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Castulo. Erasmo Castulo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Paladar Negro's goalkeeper Christian Ranolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Petri. Julio Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Castulo having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Baldomiro Indar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paladar Negro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 42 minutes into the game, German Balesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Ballester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paladar Negro the free kick. After 42 played minutes Club Atletico Ballester got a freekick which was hit by German Balesio. In the 43rd minute of the match Baldomiro Indar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erasmo Castulo skillfully saved the ball. After 44 minutes Club Atletico Ballester's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baldomiro Indar who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Paladar Negro's corner Alberto Froila fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erasmo Castulo quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melquiades Duardo made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Paladar Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Garaona to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Rico in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Castulo saved Club Atletico Ballester from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Baldomiro Indar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Claudio Orzaize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Erasmo Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Beltran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Castulo having to make a save. In the 66th minute, Claudio Orzaize got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Paladar Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Garaona to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Castulo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Emiliano Garaona sent off a good shot on target. In the last second Erasmo Castulo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Julio Beltran in the 76thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a little luck, Club Atletico Ballester's Erasmo Castulo got control of the ball when Baldomiro Indar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Julio Beltran took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Erasmo Castulo to make any attempt to save it. Alberto Froila's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Ballester's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Club Atletico Ballester booed when Paladar Negro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Froila didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Ballester getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Segundo Eron hit a great ball. Paladar Negro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
