Haroldo Iyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jose Hartz sped through Atlético Nicolas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haroldo Iyan. When Leonel Tano fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hunter FC's protests and gave Leonel Tano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Leonel Tano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute of the match, Matias Gitano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Asgeir Gundersen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Blas Montes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. David Fonda scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Iyan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Alex Pilgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Iyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Hunter FC's David Fonda made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Iyan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haroldo Iyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Fonda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Atlético Nicolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Chepe to maneuver through the defense. Matias Gitano kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Jose Hartz scored 0-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Iyan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Atlético Nicolas's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Pilgren came free, but Haroldo Iyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Iyan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Fonda went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the game, Hunter FC's Tomas Pelagius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haroldo Iyan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6.

In the 51st minute, Abelardo Egoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Jose Hartz took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Haroldo Iyan to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th minute, Hunter FC's David Fonda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Haroldo Iyan. Haroldo Iyan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Marcelo Chepe hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Tomas Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Iyan having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Atlético Nicolas got a freekick which was hit by Blas Montes. Asgeir Gundersen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Eusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Haroldo Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Fonda in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute David Fonda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Iyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hunter FC's Santos Osoitz got a free kick in the 81st minute. A collision led to Atlético Nicolas getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Abelardo Egoitz hit a great ball. Tomas Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Iyan having to interfere. Hunter FC's Asgeir Gundersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Gitano in the 88th minute of play. Hunter FC played a much better game than Atlético Nicolas and deserved their victory. The Atlético Nicolas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
