After a defensive mix-up in Stephenson AFC's zone, Jairo Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Cesaro came out of the goal and Jairo Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo Fonda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Martin Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Arnulfo Eate in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Albo's Urbano Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Eate in the 45th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Eate in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbano Vidal saved Albo from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Stephenson AFC's Rene Hanni got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jairo Fonda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Martin Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Vidal was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Tomás Felipo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomás Felipo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Felipo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbano Vidal saved Albo from getting behind. In the last second Urbano Vidal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomás Felipo in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 70 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Eate notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Albo's Urbano Vidal. Urbano Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute, Albo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnulfo Eate fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Stephenson AFC booed when Albo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Mede didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbano Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saverio Mede's late challenge caught a Stephenson AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
