When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Odilon made a kick off. When Eleuterio Jorrin came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the RIVPLATECH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Jorrin couldn't finish the play. Constantino Rozarius kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Marcos Odilon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosario's Esteve Cambranes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Pitin got free with Melquiades Bembe in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Flavio Danel managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIVPLATECH's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Danel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Cambranes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RIVPLATECH's Melquiades Bembe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Pitin in the 67th minute of play. When Alejandro Lehoi fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario's protests and gave Alejandro Lehoi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of RIVPLATECH booed when Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Danel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Saverio Romildo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario's protests and gave Saverio Romildo a yellow card for diving instead. Saverio Romildo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Rosario's Esteve Cambranes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Danel in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, RIVPLATECH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Argi to maneuver through the defense. Rosario's Gaudencio Gurutz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Melquiades Bembe but with some difficulty.
