AFC Irina's Ladislao Cedro got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFC Irina's Martin Bautista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Tercero in the 27th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Cecilio Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Irina's Martin Bautista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavino Tercero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Lopez was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Lopez in the 71st minute of play forced AFC Irina's goalkeeper Martin Bautista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Resistencia FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Cai.
