Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricardo Cordarius took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cosme Artal had several of the Egaña AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 5 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Christian Abalos as he didn't even see the shot coming. 8 minutes into the match, Egaña AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Iyan came free, but Christian Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Moctezuma booed when Egaña AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Mikeldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Intxixu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Egaña AFC's goalkeeper Christian Abalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Intxixu. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Benito Oso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egaña AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Oso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Nalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Froilan Sansone hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Intxixu got free with Christian Abalos in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosme Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Christian Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Rio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Cosme Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cosme Artal made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Moctezuma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Sansone to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Abalos having to interfere. 3-0 became the score in the 60th minute when Samuel Intxixu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Samuel Intxixu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Intxixu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Christian Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moctezuma's Severino Nalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Moctezuma from getting a goal against them. Vicente Calvet hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Samuel Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Moctezuma's Samuel Intxixu got a free kick in the 81st minute. Elias Salomon struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Severino Nalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egaña AFC. After having played for 86 minutes, Dante Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moctezuma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Iyan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosme Artal hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Severino Nalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Oso in the 94th minute. Ricardo Cordarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moctezuma walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
