Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Esquipula in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Ricart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Mío Cid Campeador's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Rius came free, but Victoriano Montxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Virgilio Ricart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute of the match, Fabricio Bihar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victoriano Montxo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ismael Rius struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Victoriano Montxo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poker FC. Virgilio Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Esquipula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poker FC's Virgilio Ricart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Vidal in the 33rd minute of play. Vladimiro Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Mío Cid Campeador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poker FC:s goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Rius was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Poker FC's Virgilio Ricart got control of the ball when Ernesto Esquipula tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismael Rius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Victoriano Montxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Ernesto Esquipula recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgilio Ricart. Bruno Javiero might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Ricart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Javiero ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Esquipula got free with Virgilio Ricart in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorato Costante kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Isaias Naelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Victoriano Montxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Ismael Rius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
