The supporters of Guernica booed when Walt AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeo Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Melquiades Rosio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Bartoli might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Rosio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Bartoli ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the match, Walt AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Casado came free, but Melquiades Rosio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guernica's Ricardo Quinten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Guernica from getting a goal against them. Saturnino Mattin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Quinten having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Walt AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Casado came free, but Melquiades Rosio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Casado in the 22nd minute of play forced Walt AFC's goalkeeper Melquiades Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Bartoli in the 25th minute of play. Felix Ermano charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Ermano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felix Ermano kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Damian Bartoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Mattin to make the kick off. Amadeo Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Rosio having to interfere. Guernica's Amadeo Casado was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Bartoli couldn't finish the play. Amadeo Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Damian Bartoli made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Walt AFC's Melquiades Rosio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Ermano hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Eduardo Garin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Amadeo Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Rosio having to interfere. Damian Bartoli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Melquiades Rosio made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Amadeo Casado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Raulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Quinten having to interfere. Amadeo Casado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Rosio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Melquiades Rosio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Bartoli in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Amadeo Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guernica played a much better game than Walt AFC and deserved their victory. The Walt AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
