The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Cuarto during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes NEGRI got a freekick which was hit by Felix Cuarto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Jaume in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Eufrasio saved Deluga Sport from getting behind. Amado Jaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Zeledon Eufrasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Lehoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Zeledon Eufrasio made a huge save. After a rather tough play, NEGRI's Benito Oinaz got a free kick in the 24th minute. Teofilo Petri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Deluga Sport's Zeledon Eufrasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Jaume in the 31st minute of play. Candido Mambru hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Silvestre Lehoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Eufrasio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Teofilo Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Betadur in the 54th minute of the match. NEGRI's Silvestre Lehoi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, NEGRI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes in the game Benicio Colon got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Deluga Sport's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Jaume came free, but Zeledon Eufrasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Deluga Sport booed when NEGRI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball.
