When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Amado Jaume took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Bruno Mel to make any attempt to save it. Los Bohemios's Bruno Mel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Bohemios from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Jaume stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Gutierrez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Teofilo Petri made a huge save. NEGRI's Teofilo Petri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save NEGRI from getting a goal against them. When Candido Mambru fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NEGRI's protests and gave Candido Mambru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Candido Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Los Bohemios's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Los Bohemios may have spent more time on the ball, but NEGRI were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
