Raul Donio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andres Montel. 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Gutemberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Pitin to maneuver through the defense. Andres Montel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Jobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Pitin during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of NEUQUEN F.C booed when Gutemberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Pitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Carolo Beat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andres Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Jobo in the 21st minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Gutemberg got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Pitin. After a defensive mix-up in Gutemberg's zone, Carolo Beat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Montel came out of the goal and Carolo Beat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carolo Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Gutemberg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NEUQUEN F.C:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Jobo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Montel saved Gutemberg from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in NEUQUEN F.C's zone, Raimundo Pitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Lertxun came out of the goal and Raimundo Pitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Gutemberg defense, Carolo Beat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Montel. The Gutemberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Montel should have stopped the shot. After 44 minutes of play, NEUQUEN F.C's Carolo Beat made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Montel was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Gutemberg getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Evelio Afonso hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Raul Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEUQUEN F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Donio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Montel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Genaro Jobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Pitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The NEUQUEN F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NEUQUEN F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
