Christian Omero, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ignacio Abarca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomás Raulo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mollecito's Tomás Raulo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mollecito from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Mollecito getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Felipe Modestio hit a great ball. Benedicto Ramone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tomás Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedicto Ramone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tomás Raulo made a huge save. Tomás Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Eguerdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Palavecino's Ermegildo Eguerdi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Raulo. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Palavecino's Ermegildo Eguerdi got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedicto Ramone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Tomás Raulo made a huge save. If Agustin Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Raulo having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermegildo Arlo was the one to do the kick off. Mollecito's Tomás Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Eguerdi in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mollecito's Ermegildo Arlo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Tomás Raulo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Ramone's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Palavecino's Ermegildo Eguerdi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Raulo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 80 minutes, Ermegildo Arlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mollecito and the Palavecino players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Mollecito got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Arlo. 83 minutes into the match, Mollecito's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Ramone came free, but Tomás Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Eguerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tomás Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Eguerdi took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Raulo. Tomás Raulo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Ermegildo Eguerdi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Raulo was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mollecito's goalkeeper Tomás Raulo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute Ermegildo Eguerdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Palavecino players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
