Damaso Frascuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustacio Ezkerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eustacio Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Eustacio Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Damaso Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Damaso Frascuelo got in the 45th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eustacio Ponc handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Elpidio Seguinus kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustacio Ezkerra made a kick off. Aureliano Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Txurio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darwin's Benigno Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Franco in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Ezkerra got free with Eustacio Ponc in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustacio Ponc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Garaona in the 66th minute of the match. Eustacio Ezkerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Darwin could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rocket Athletic F.C throughout the match.
