Prudencio Ayala took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Madaleno. Vicente Madaleno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Borbotones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Ayala came free, but Vicente Madaleno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Igor Boniel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and catamarca fc's Nereo Mendebal didn't even have to move. Vicente Madaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Prudencio Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. catamarca fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Ayala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Dante Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borbotones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Platon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Mendebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute of the match Roque Gagriel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Madaleno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teodosio Chap recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Teodosio Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Chap made a kick off. Teodosio Chap struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Vicente Madaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for catamarca fc. After a defensive mix-up in Borbotones FC's zone, Teodosio Chap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Madaleno came out of the goal and Teodosio Chap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Isauro during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Borbotones FC's Vinicio Isauro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Vicente Madaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Humberto Bermudo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Bermudo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Borbotones FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Vicente Madaleno came out of the goal and Maximino Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borbotones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Chap was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
