In the 11th minute Augusto Roldanillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Fertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Feliberto Gil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erubiel Fertus. The goal made the score 2-0. Antonio Benvido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Fertus having to interfere. The supporters of Leon FC booed when RacingStones F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Guillelmus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Antonio Benvido came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Leon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Benvido couldn't finish the play. After having played for 28 minutes, Antonio Benvido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Benvido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in RacingStones F.C's zone, Antonio Benvido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Fertus came out of the goal and Antonio Benvido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon FC's Augusto Roldanillo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Roldanillo in the 36th minute of play forced RacingStones F.C's goalkeeper Erubiel Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RacingStones F.C's Erubiel Fertus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save RacingStones F.C from getting a goal against them. Augusto Roldanillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Benvido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Fertus having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Roldanillo was the one to do the kick off. When Antonio Benvido came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Leon FC fans jumped to their feet. Erubiel Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Roldanillo in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th match minute, RacingStones F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Tonio to maneuver through the defense. If Antonio Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Fertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Erubiel Fertus came out of the goal and Augusto Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Augusto Roldanillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RacingStones F.C's Erubiel Fertus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Leon FC were the better team. Leon FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
