Cosme Chabier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Ruy in the 24th minute of play forced Cienaguita FC's goalkeeper Jesus Lia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Chabier struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Marcelino Gaxan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cienaguita FC. Leon Quico was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. If Cosme Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. Marcelino Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Chabier in the 46th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Fausto Clemencin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cienaguita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Clemencin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Gaxan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Ruy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Papo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match.
