Gaston Izotz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Chorche's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Nasaló's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Chorche came free, but Gaston Izotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Nasaló was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Urbez to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes in the game, Israel Perpinya dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Israel Perpinya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Izotz having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Israel Perpinya fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaston Izotz, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Nasaló defense, Anier Chorche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Izotz. The Nasaló fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Izotz should have stopped the shot. If Israel Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Izotz having to interfere. If Israel Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Hermengildo Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nasaló's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Enaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Iratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Salto AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nasaló had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
