Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yu Xi went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the match, H E P T A N FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Herbert Tamulewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Yu Xi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. H E P T A N FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atabey Ökten in the 13th minute. It was a well-played corner which Macit Taşel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 15th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Atabey Ökten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Atabey Ökten made a great header on H E P T A N FC's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. If Macit Taşel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yu Xi made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Macit Taşel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Yu Xi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. H E P T A N FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yu Xi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Xi in the 57th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Şafak Açıkalın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Macit Taşel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of H E P T A N FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes H E P T A N FC got a freekick which was hit by Macit Taşel. When Yu Xi fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored H E P T A N FC's protests and gave Yu Xi a yellow card for diving instead. Yu Xi kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
