Baldomero Donzel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Honorio Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Donzel having to interfere. Honorio Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Baldomero Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Ferran in the 33rd minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Baldomero Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Casimiro Kelemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Alvarez, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Baldomero Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Ferran in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Ferran in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Donzel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute Anastasio Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Salamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Jaen in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, River Plate's Anastasio Jaen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Salamon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of River Plate booed when Black Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Raymon didn't get a good kick on the ball.
