Gabriel Mosen was slow to take the kick. During this time OLIMPO DE B.B's players had a chance to rest. Tomás Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. OLIMPO DE B.B's Carolo Lapurdi got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Izotz in the 84th minute of play forced Hale AFC's goalkeeper Elvio Fonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tomás Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the OLIMPO DE B.B fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Izotz couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Primitivo Cebrian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, Hale AFC could leave the field as winners, despite OLIMPO DE B.B having more of the ball for most of the match.
