Hector Chap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Sergi in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Carrizales got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Onofre. With a little luck, Carrizales's Hector Chap got control of the ball when Emilio Abalos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Futbol Club Tatuna's Emilio Abalos got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Luis Sazon came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Carrizales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Sazon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Esquipula in the 38th minute of play forced Futbol Club Tatuna's goalkeeper Casimiro Grabiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Luis Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Grabiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carrizales's Luis Sazon got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marciano Heriberto during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carrizales booed when Futbol Club Tatuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Chap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Sergi in the 98th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carrizales's Osvaldo Ibañez got a free kick in the 99th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
