Spectators: 7160 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 30) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lázaro Atauri started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Madeo to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the game, Agustin Beltxe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gregorio Kaiet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the match, CACJ's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Atauri came free, but Dionisio Licerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CACJ's zone, Isidro Ignatius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Licerio came out of the goal and Isidro Ignatius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Martin Cayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CACJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almagro the free kick. After 17 played minutes CACJ got a freekick which was hit by Martin Cayo. After a defensive mix-up in CACJ's zone, Lázaro Atauri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Licerio came out of the goal and Lázaro Atauri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Almagro's Gregorio Kaiet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Beltxe in the 20th minute of play. Lázaro Atauri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Licerio having to make a save. Gregorio Kaiet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Celipe in the 39th minute of play. Isidro Ignatius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dionisio Licerio made a huge save. Agustin Beltxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half CACJ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Domingos Celipe managed to get in a good position for a shot. CACJ's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Celipe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Kaiet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnulfo Galindo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gregorio Kaiet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Beltxe in the 58th minute of play. Isidro Ignatius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dionisio Licerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dionisio Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Atauri in the 62nd minute of the match. Arnulfo Galindo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Domingos Celipe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Gregorio Kaiet made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Almagro's Arnulfo Galindo got a free kick in the 84th minute. A collision led to Almagro getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Americo Quintin hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulgencio Lon during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CACJ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
