If Romulo Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sportivo Suardi booed when Belgrano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Lop was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Amador Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Unax's late challenge caught a Belgrano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Unax helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Suardi's Diego Unax got a free kick in the 47th minute. Belgrano AFC's Urbano Eliu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sportivo Suardi. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Gregory made a kick off. Ceferino Hotz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Argina in the 53rd minute. Sportivo Suardi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
