Spectators: 7150 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 20) Celeste y Branca's Andres Matei started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lisandro Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Matei, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After having played for 3 minutes, Andres Matei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celeste y Branca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Matei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Celeste y Branca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Flavio Rocio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Andres Matei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Naldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Victoriano Francho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgranoalta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Celeste y Branca the free kick. After 16 played minutes Belgranoalta got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Francho. Guillermo Napier hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Andres Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Matei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lisandro Naldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Andres Matei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcelo Munio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Venancio Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Celeste y Branca booed when Belgranoalta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Rocio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Belgranoalta getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Flavio Rocio hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Celeste y Branca's Manuel Lauaxeta tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Blas Grabiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Munio was the one to do the kick off. Blas Grabiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lisandro Naldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Blas Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Munio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Lisandro Naldo managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Celeste y Branca's Blas Grabiel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Celeste y Branca's Andres Matei got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andres Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th match minute, Belgranoalta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Matei to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Belgranoalta's Lisandro Naldo got control of the ball when Blas Grabiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Celeste y Branca's Andres Matei, in the 82nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Celeste y Branca. 85 minutes into the match, Celeste y Branca's Blas Grabiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lisandro Naldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Andres Matei fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lisandro Naldo, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Matei in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Naldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Belgranoalta's zone, Blas Grabiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Naldo came out of the goal and Blas Grabiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Celeste y Branca booed when Belgranoalta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Rocio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celeste y Branca's Manuel Lauaxeta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lisandro Naldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
