The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvio Shepherd during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Silvio Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adan Lertxun made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Rogelio Estavan sent off a good shot on target. Adan Lertxun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sixto Boniel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. When Rogelio Estavan came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vikings FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Estavan couldn't finish the play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adan Lertxun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barborín reached it. The audience was convinced that Sixto Boniel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adan Lertxun was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
