The supporters of Christophersen FC booed when Miraflores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Miraflores's zone, Arnulfo George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Fidensio came out of the goal and Arnulfo George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, Arnulfo George cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leonides Fidensio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonides Fidensio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Dantel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Miraflores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Telo to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Leonides Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Dantel in the 30th minute of play forced Miraflores's goalkeeper Leonides Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Indartsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Melchor Lehen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Miraflores got a freekick which was hit by Albano Frederik. Christophersen FC's Antonio Dantel managed to work through Miraflores's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Antonio Dantel dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Leonides Fidensio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo George's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Arnulfo George had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Fidensio. Miraflores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo George was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Arnulfo George managed to get in a good position for a shot. Christophersen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo George was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Fidensio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Antonio Dantel made the kick off in the second half. Arnulfo George struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Leonides Fidensio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Christophersen FC. After 61 played minutes Antonio Dantel rounded Miraflores's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Arnulfo George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Fidensio having to interfere. Leonides Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Dantel, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When Christophersen FC's Antonio Dantel in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miraflores's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Ignacio Indartsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraflores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Indartsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Antonio Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Antonio Dantel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Leonides Tino collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Nestor Quirce kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Modesto Bembe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melchor Lehen skillfully saved the ball. If Antonio Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo George could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Leonides Fidensio made a huge save. When the match was over Christophersen FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Miraflores throughout the match.
