Pierini's Fidel Paulin got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Severino Viator cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Elpidio Gaxan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teofilo Guerau hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Fidel Paulin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Elpidio Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Paulin in the 34th minute of the match. Fidel Paulin struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Elpidio Gaxan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pierini. After a defensive mix-up in Dorila's zone, Severino Viator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Gaxan came out of the goal and Severino Viator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidel Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Pierini's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dorila the free kick. Artemio Richie kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Fulgencio Mergildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Tono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Severino Viator came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Pierini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Viator couldn't finish the play. The Pierini fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Pierini's Fidel Paulin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute, Teofilo Guerau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Severino Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. The referee gave Pierini a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Genaro Petri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dorila's Elpidio Gaxan. 4-0.
