Wilfredo Baraquiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Asur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Baraquiel ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilfredo Baraquiel struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ezequiel Asur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atahona. If Alfredo Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Wilfredo Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Asur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Delmar Teodor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, DeprimerA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Loco to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, DeprimerA's Delmar Teodor got a free kick in the 31st minute. Wilfredo Baraquiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ezequiel Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Atahona were awarded a corner. Fabian Lizardi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fabian Lizardi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DeprimerA's Ezequiel Asur did a great save. In the 39th match minute, DeprimerA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Teodor to maneuver through the defense. When Uriel Poz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atahona's protests and gave Uriel Poz a yellow card for diving instead. Ezequiel Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Peruanton to make the kick off. With a little luck, DeprimerA's Ezequiel Asur got control of the ball when Sergio Mincho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ezequiel Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Atahona booed when DeprimerA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Loco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Wilfredo Baraquiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atahona's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Baraquiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Asur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 58th minute of the match Cirilo Loco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cirilo Loco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 59th match minute, DeprimerA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Loco to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Lizardi, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Baraquiel in the 68th minute of play forced DeprimerA's goalkeeper Ezequiel Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Asur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Baraquiel in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DeprimerA's Alfredo Peruanton got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes, Atahona's Fabian Lizardi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ezequiel Asur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atahona reached it. After 79 minutes, Alfredo Peruanton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DeprimerA and the Atahona players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to DeprimerA getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alfredo Peruanton hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in DeprimerA's zone, Wilfredo Baraquiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Asur came out of the goal and Wilfredo Baraquiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
