Filiberto Mikolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Bermudez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Clodoveo Balendin hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Alberto Bermudez came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bermejo AFC's Marcelino Manny. But to his dismay, Marcelino Manny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Higinio Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Manny in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Cayo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Achicó's Clodoveo Balendin got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Bermejo AFC's Geronimo Tabby broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Higinio Cayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ermegildo Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Marcones in the 86th minute of play forced Bermejo AFC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Cayo in the 87th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Tobias Marcones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ermegildo Xabel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
