After 26 minutes of play, Piquete's Enrique Oxel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Leocadio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd match minute, FLACOLEI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Galo to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Leocadio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Oxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Fresco to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrique Oxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cristobal Leocadio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Benvide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Haritzeder's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Damian Martinez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Benvide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Enrique Oxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Cristobal Leocadio made a huge save. Lino Haritzeder took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Benvide. Leopoldo Benvide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 76th match minute, FLACOLEI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Dimo to maneuver through the defense. FLACOLEI's Cristobal Leocadio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save FLACOLEI from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Piquete's Geronimo Fresco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristobal Leocadio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lino Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Benvide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Fresco in the 95th minute of play forced FLACOLEI's goalkeeper Cristobal Leocadio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
