In the 3rd minute, Ermegildo Mikelats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acosta's Tomas Figueroa got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Acosta got a freekick which was hit by Martin Tono. With his leg Feliberto Abascal managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Waska FC's Guillermo Matthew fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gervasio Cutberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Sidro's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Eusebio Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gervasio Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Eusebio Sidro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Cutberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tomas Figueroa hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Sidro in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Cutberto saved Waska FC from getting behind. Severo Beti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gervasio Cutberto. Waska FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Waska FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Sidro came free, but Gervasio Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Acosta's Gerardo Pacorro got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Acosta's Eusebio Sidro in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waska FC's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Harriet was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Ricardo Harriet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Abascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Cutberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Sidro in the 53rd minute. Eusebio Sidros short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Gervasio Cutberto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 56 minutes, Eusebio Sidro made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Waska FC's Gervasio Cutberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 60 minutes, Eusebio Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acosta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Sidro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gervasio Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Blai's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gervasio Cutberto firmly grabbed it by the left post. Waska FC's Gervasio Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Sidro in the 69th minute of play. Benicio Sengrat's late challenge caught a Acosta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Sengrat helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Waska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Sengrat to maneuver through the defense. When Eusebio Sidro came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Acosta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Sidro couldn't finish the play. Eusebio Sidro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Gervasio Cutberto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marco Txilar might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Txilar ran back to his position shaking his head. Feliberto Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luis Blai came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Acosta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Blai couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Waska FC's zone, Eusebio Sidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Cutberto came out of the goal and Eusebio Sidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Eusebio Sidro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gervasio Cutberto, 0-6. Eusebio Sidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebio Sidro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Gervasio Cutberto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gervasio Cutberto was a little too slow when Gerardo Pacorro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-7. Eusebio Sidro scored 0-8 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Cutberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Waska FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Acosta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
