If Jonathan Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Benigno Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cepeda's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Cesaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Benigno Cesaro came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Cepeda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Cesaro couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Franco having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, EquisDe United's Baldomiro Sabin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Tuste was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sixto Hanni charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Hanni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sixto Hanni hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Chesus made a kick off. When Benigno Cesaro came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Cepeda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Cesaro couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, Benigno Cesaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cepeda's Benigno Cesaro got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Benigno Cesaro made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. EquisDe United's Atilano Franco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Paulin charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evelio Paulin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niceto Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Jonathan Odon came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cepeda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Odon couldn't finish the play. Atilano Franco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Odon went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cepeda fully deserved thier win.
