Gilberto Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Perpinya having to interfere. Elias Jesco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Perpinya having to make a save. Elias Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Firenze's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
