Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Froilan Mannie took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Froilan Mannie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Urtsua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pablo Iztal made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Santos Procopio sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Languiñeo FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Julian Millrick hit a great ball. Palmar FC's Bernardo Lamberto got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pablo Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Lamberto in the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Lamberto in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Iztal saved Languiñeo FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Palmar FC's Albino Dolfos got a free kick in the 18th minute. Rodolfo Urtsua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Froilan Mannie's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bernardo Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Lamberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Iztal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Ramirez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Urtsua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Guido Mingo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Palmar FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Arnaldo Musko hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Melquiades Mede shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Urtsua showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Santos Procopio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Iztal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Languiñeo FC's zone, Bernardo Lamberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Iztal came out of the goal and Bernardo Lamberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Palmar FC's Santos Procopio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Iztal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Palmar FC's Filomeno Telo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Filomeno Telo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Palmar FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Filomeno Telo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Palmar FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Filomeno Telo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Julian Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Languiñeo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Urtsua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Froilan Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Santos Procopio made the kick off in the second half. When Albino Dolfos came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Palmar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Dolfos couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Santos Procopio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Procopio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Iztal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palmar FC's Astor Pueblo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pablo Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Procopio in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Guido Mingo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Mingo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Iztal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos Procopio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pablo Iztal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Astor Pueblo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pablo Iztal. Julian Ramirez hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Julian Ramirez succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After 85 played minutes Languiñeo FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Sugar. If Guido Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Santos Procopio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Procopio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Placido Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Iztal having to interfere. Languiñeo FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Palmar FC's much stronger midfield.
