But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Bladi couldn't finish the play. Alonzo Nastasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Abancens having to interfere. Amadeo Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Kauldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes Cruzados got a freekick which was hit by Victor Abeita. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzados's zone, Alfonso Loreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Nesor came out of the goal and Alfonso Loreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Marcos Bladi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Nesor. Cruzados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Bladi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Adrian Orlanda hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marcos Bladi struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Pedro Nesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Combate 1324. Cruzados's Alonzo Nastasio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Alonzo Nastasio scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Abancens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eulalio Vincent fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Combate 1324's protests and gave Eulalio Vincent a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cruzados booed when Combate 1324 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Vincent didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Gizon during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Gizon kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Marcos Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Candido Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-3 became the score in the 79th minute when Marcos Bladi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Combate 1324's Marcos Bladi got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Cruzados's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Bladi came free, but Pedro Nesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Combate 1324's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
